Submission guidelines
Original artwork, shared thoughtfully and reviewed by NICE.
What to share
We welcome paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculpture, and digital artwork from artists of all experience levels. Submit an image of a work you created, or a work you have the artist’s permission to share. Photograph a sculpture or other three-dimensional work clearly.
Prepare the image
Use a still JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB and 40 megapixels. Photograph the artwork in even light, with its edges visible. Upload one artwork per submission. Images are resized for display, and embedded image metadata is removed.
Choose public details carefully
Approved work displays the supplied artist or display name, title, year, medium, and description. A first name or pseudonym is welcome. Avoid addresses, phone numbers, school names, and other personal information. Your contact email is kept out of the public gallery.
For young artists
Artists under 18 should have a parent or guardian submit on their behalf, using an adult’s email. An adult must confirm permission before uploading.
How review works
Submissions remain private until approved. NICE may decline work that is not original, lacks permission, exposes personal information, or includes hateful, threatening, exploitative, or explicit content. A submission does not guarantee inclusion. Staff Picks are selected separately from approved work.
There are no public accounts, likes, comments, or saves. NICE stores submissions privately for staff review and does not yet send email notifications. To request a correction or removal, email hello@niceartinstitute.org with your submission reference.
